How does Rinkel work?

Rinkel is a virtual business phone service that forwards calls from your business landline number to your mobile phone. 

Download our app (available on iPhone and Android), choose a business number and start making and taking calls. Keep your work calls and personal life separate, set business hours, and greet customers with a professional message—all from one phone.

Please note: minute allowances include both incoming and outgoing calls.

 

What kind of numbers can I get?

You can choose from a wide range of UK business numbers, including local numbers (e.g. 020 for London) or national numbers, also known as non-geographic numbers, (e.g. 0330), depending on what suits your business best. Local numbers help build trust in the area you operate in, whereas national numbers maintain a nationwide presence.

It´s up to you! Choose your ideal business number through the Rinkel app.

 

Can I choose my own business number?

Yes, when signing up through the Rinkel app, you can choose from a list of available numbers. This allows you to pick a number that best represents your business, whether it’s a local or national number.

Can I move my existing number to Rinkel?

Absolutely! We can transfer your current business number over to Rinkel, so you don’t have to change anything for your customers. It’s a smooth process and ensures you keep your professional image intact while you switch over to an easier business call management system. And it´s free of charge!

Can I make international calls?

Yes, and it's included in the call minutes in your plan! No hidden costs.

What kind of technology does Rinkel use?

Rinkel works through your mobile’s network, which means you get high-quality calls without relying on WiFi or data. This is different from VoIP - the traditional technology for handling digital business calls - so you´ll enjoy more reliable connections wherever you are.

What if I run out of call minutes?

No need to worry. Only outgoing calls will be paused, but you´ll remain 100% reachable for incoming calls. 

To make outgoing calls, you  can add an extra user, upgrade your plan, or wait for the bundle to refill. Both our Professional Plan (£11.99/user/month) and the Expert plan (£15.99/user/month) offer unlimited calls (subject to our Fair Use Policy).
